We will soon be leaving for Ethiopia. A sweet baby boy named Micah Abenezer awaits my brother and sister-in-law. I get to go with them to watch this miracle of adoption take place! I hope to post here about our journey so that interested friends and family can follow along. Hang on, and stay tuned! Hopefully I will leave here on Thursday March 11, spend a couple of day with Ty and Audrey in VA, and then we all take off for Ethiopia on Saturday the 13th. Here is the plan from there:
Arrive Ethiopia Sunday evening (Ethiopia time) (Sunday morning our time).Sleep, shower
Monday: paperwork in hotel, meet and spend a few hours with Micah, then a spa and dinner! (hard life, huh?)
Tuesday: shopping, and get Micah for keeps!
Wednesday: appointment at the Embassy for Micah's visa
Thursday: visit orphanges and wait for visa
Friday: wait for visa a bit longer, more visiting and shoppping, leave that night.
Saturday: arrive home in U.S.
That's the plan!
